At EtraPrint we offer a specialized artwork photographic reproduction service, designed for artists who need faithful, accurate images ready for print or publication. Our goal is to capture every detail of the original work with the highest quality and preserve the color richness, texture, and the artist’s visual intent.
High-resolution professional photography
We work with medium format digital cameras to obtain ultra high-resolution files, ideal for Fine Art reproduction, catalogs, digital archives or professional documentation. The process is carried out in our own photo studio/set, equipped for this type of work, where artists can bring their pieces into a controlled and prepared environment.
When necessary, we also offer the possibility of traveling to the artist’s studio or workshop, a particularly useful solution for large-format, delicate, or difficult-to-transport works.
Accurate color management
To ensure accurate and consistent color reproduction, we generate a specific color profile for each photo session. We use X-Rite’s ColorChecker Passport, a professional standard reference tool that allows us to calibrate the photograph and ensure color fidelity throughout the workflow.
Files and delivery
Each reproduction includes the delivery of files in the following formats:
- RAW (original uncompressed camera file)
- TIFF (high-quality file for print and archiving)
- JPEG (optimized format for screen or web)
- CMYK (file prepared for catalog or offset printing)
Before delivery, we perform a specific image treatment, optimized for Fine Art printing or editorial use, according to the client’s needs.
